To deliver system-wide overlay snow effects, the app requests the following system permissions:
- Display Over Other Apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): Required to render snowfall particles over the status bar, home screen, and lock screen.
- Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE): Keeps the snow effect running continuously and smoothly in the background.
- Usage Stats Access (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS): Optional permission used solely to detect when you leave the home screen, allowing the "Only Home & Lock Screen" feature to automatically pause snow over other apps. This data is processed locally on your phone and is never saved or transmitted.
- In-App Purchases (BILLING): Managed securely by Google Play Store to handle optional Pro feature unlocking.
3. Third-Party Services
The app uses Google Play Services, Firebase Analytics, and Google Play Billing for basic usage metrics and secure purchases. These services are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
